Rodcorte, the God of Transmigration, ruled over reincarnation in multiple worlds such as Earth and Origin. He has also hooked up his circle of transmigration to worlds like Lambda.[1]
Appearance[]
Rodcorte is depicted as an old man with long light-colored hair combed back and a long thrush beard. He wears a light-colored robe.[?] In his divine realm, he has also appeared with a halo.[1]
Personality[]
The God of Transmigration has shown expert knowledge on the refinement of his own Divine Power and the soul, with extensive expertise on the management of circles of transmigration. However, due to only focusing on the management of the system and lack of interaction with other Gods and beings, he shows an initial lack of competence and familiarity with management of personnel and communication of thoughts and ideas with others as he finally begins to take souls into his Divine Realm for the purposes of his project on Lambda. In these first few exchanges, he begins to note his mistakes in communication when making use of his personnel, and as he lets them do as they please to some extent within his realm, becoming surprised to find previously undiscovered uses of these individual souls that allow him to act beyond the scope of his normal authority.[?]
Rodcorte only sees living being as part of a program due to only focusing on the management of the reincarnation system and lack of interaction with other gods and beings; he shows an initial lack of understanding of the risks in repeated reincarnation and a lack of care about it nor for the consequences as long as it works in his favor. This shows that he can be self-centered, reckless, unsympathetic and apathetic. The fact that he is not omniscient is immediately apparent to anyone who has interacted with him and sees his judgment as flawed. As he causes more problems and leaves fixing them to the reincarnators without much consideration or thought of said reincarnators views or personality; those who have met him get the impression that he is either, for lack of a better word, an idiot or untrustworthy.[?]
The exact level of his personality flaws:
- Arrogance
- Cowardice
- Laziness
- Inability or refusal to understand others
- Refusing or being completely unaware that he is to blame for anything he does wrong
- Self-centered
For these flaws in his personality, just about every god so far does not have a good opinion of him. Which is fair, as he drove Vandalieu insane from his carelessness.
When he discovered he royally screwed up by giving Amamiya Hiroto's blessings to Amemiya Hiroto by mistake due to their similar names, rather than retract the excess blessing or allow Amamiya to return to the circle of reincarnation unaware at his request (to compromise for the blunder), Rodcorte instead gave him excessive mana and sent him to the other world anyway; sending him into a life of pure hell to the point he awoke death magic and became a zombie to escape the pain of being experimented on all his life. Even when Amamiya returned after being killed, having been driven insane thanks to Rodcorte's stupidity, the god refused to offer any redress for the suffering endured by "Experiment D6" or his earlier mistakes, aside from empty lip-service apologies and instead slaps him with three hastily crafted and unbreakable curses with the stated intent of having the poor boy live a short, meaningless life and presumably die quickly, to then memory wipe and reincarnate a fourth time.
When he learns that Vandalieu slipped out of his reincarnation system and into Vida's, he's initially very dismissive, choosing to demonize Vandalieu to the other reincarnators, so they would happily seek out Van's death, forgetting that the reason he cursed Van before just blithely sending his soul to Lambda is that he didn't want Van seeking vengeance on the Bravers for killing him back in Origin.
After Van successfully defends himself from several shoddy murder attempts, and makes Rodcorte's existence and antics public, the god becomes increasingly desperate to kill off Vandalieu, no matter the cost, even being willing to cut off Lambda, Origin, and Earth from his cycle of reincarnation to make that happen, killing off untold billions in the collateral damage, only failing because public knowledge of him made him recognized as a god of Lambda, so he expands his murderous ambitions to kill off every last man, woman, and child in Talosheim, so he can then proceed with said severing, responding to every set-back and defeat with unmitigated panic, ultimately being willing to set the soul-breaking Guduranis loose in Lambda if that will get rid of Vandalieu for him, despite knowing just how untrustworthy that demon king is. Even Alda, his only supporter, loses all patience with him.
Background[]
A god at least much older than the world of Lambda itself.[2] He controls the reincarnation of many worlds without belonging to any particular world. He has accumulated enormous power by circulating the souls belonging to each world in his system.[3]
He wants his system to operate with a greater number of intelligent life forms in it, so he has decided to meddle in the world of Lambda, where the number of human races is small in comparison to its history.[1][4]
In fact, his objectives include reducing and preferably destroying the cycles of Vida and Guduranis, which compete with his system.[5]
Powers and Abilities[]
Rodcorte is an expert with the soul. On the occasion that a God grants special abilities, or "cheats", to a person such as one brought to their world in order to fight against a Demon King, they make use of inherent white space to fill in these unique powers. Rodcorte has the most capability when it comes to making use of the white space, his failure to provide advisement when the Gods of Lambda prompted him on this matter painted him in a disagreeable light. Rodcorte has recently granted 100 individuals such powers by refining his own Divine Power and had them descend onto origin.[?]

Fortunes & Destinies, Curses[?]
"Rodcorte is not directly worshipped by the people, and does not entrust anything to clergymen. Nor is he able to directly intervene by descending onto a world to perform miracles. What he can do is controlling the transmigration of souls and, very occasionally, altering it. However, he had almost never made any alterations to the circle before," because the circle of transmigration is very well-made, so there's almost no situations that required him to adjust it.[1]
Incidentally, the progress of the planet Lambda and the increase in its population would by extension strengthen his authority as the circulation of souls within his system is refined.[4]

Familiar Spirits
Those who became his familiar spirits only did so to avoid possible destruction at Vandalieu's hands. Due to Rodcorte's personality, he doesn’t/is unable to care about them nor does he heed their advice or acknowledge their warnings due to his aforementioned personality and because he is also aware that they are not loyal to him

Trivia[]
- Rodcorte is an old God, he has more divinity as a whole when compared to other Gods. However, he is limited to reincarnation. He is much weaker in anything other than reincarnation.[?]
- Rodcorte was inspired by stories of other Gods using heroes to solve their problems.
- His limited understanding in mortals has caused him to make errors in judgment.[?]
- Due to Vandalieu openly admitting to being reincarnated and of Rodcorte's existence to every inhabitant within the Boundary Mountain Range, Rodcorte is acknowledged as a God of Lambda and can no longer detach the circle of transmigration of Earth, Origin or Lambda, which are linked together; unless he were to utilize methods which would take a thousand years at least or be deemed suicide.[?]
Quotes[]
- You souls who have lost your lives once already, you have been chosen. I will now grant you special power, a new destiny and new fortune. Using these, I wish for you to live new lives in a world separate from the『Earth』you lived on.[1]
