Vandalieu is disheartened that the Zombie Maker he acquired to cure Zandia and Jeena,[1] followed by the Golem Creator he acquired to repair the resurrection device,[2] did not serve his purpose.
Borkus pleads with Vandalieu to improve the treatment of Mikhail, who once killed Borkus, with the permission of his friends and fellow victims, Zandia and Jeena. Vandalieu readily promises to improve Mikhail's treatment from a training dummy to a criminal slave, and teaches Borkus and Jeena body-building poses for his own fun.
