Synopsis[]
Alda's Dungeon is isolated when Gufadgarn shows up in pursuit of Vandalieu, and Curatos does everything in his power to let the unfinished heroes escape. As a result, Heinz re-commits a sin he once committed and supposedly shook off, and Vandalieu is deeply emotionally scarred.
Vandalieu releases an enhanced version of the Hollow Cannon with himself as collateral damage and attempts to kill Heinz and destroy the Dungeon, but accomplishes neither goal and retreats, protected by Vida, Darcia and Gufadgarn.
In Vandalieu's subjective view, the battle ends in a bitter draw, but from the perspective of Alda's faction, the huge defeat, while the enemy has only a scratch that recovers in a few days,[1] they lose a god and two heroic spirits, the hero training facility is half destroyed, and two heroes are seriously wounded.
