Zadiris’s curse (ザディリスの呪い)[1] is a phenomenon in which the word "princess" appears in large numbers in the status tables of women who are close to Vandalieu. It is probably a mischief of the gods of the Status System.[2]
This phenomenon occurs in the following ways:
- The only available Jobs are those named "princess."[3][4]
- The moment a Superior skill is acquired, "princess" is added to its name.[3]
- The word "princess" is attached to the race name of a monster or Vida's race with rank.[5]
- Acquiring a Title with a name attached to "princess."[6]
Victims[]
Those who feel humiliated or unwilling to be affected by it.[5][1][7][8]
Those who don't care[]
When this phenomenon appears in people who are actually born into royalty or high nobility, or who originally call themselves princesses, it is difficult to tell them apart and they tend not to care.[9][6]
Those who are not affected[]
Presumably, people above a certain age in appearance or with social standings incompatible with the princesses, such as servants, seem to be less likely to fall prey to this "curse."[5][10][1][11][6]
